Pricing

• Research and report writing is charged at 20 pounds per hour. The minimum amount of research is two hours. The hourly rate includes the time spent carrying out research, analysis, report writing, constructing family trees, and communicating with you by telephone, email or letter. A budget or a set number of hours will be agreed in advance of the research commencing. Any quote for services will be valid for one calendar month from the date of quote. • For research under 60 pounds, payment must be made in advance; over 60 pounds, 50% of the amount is paid in advance and the other 50% before the final report is sent out. Payment can be made through direct bank transfer, PayPal (additional 5% surcharge for the use of this service) or cheque and must be made before work commences. • At all cost-incurring stages, you, as the client, will be consulted before any work is undertaken. The number of hours commissioned will not be exceeded without prior agreement. This means you are in control of the costs and there will be no unwelcome payment surprises.
